First atempt
Two onions cut in half and than and sliced finely. Warmed some oil in a pan, put the onions in and warmed them for 10 minutes (way too much time) Adding some water with two cubes of broth Boiled - removed as much burned onion as possible during this process

Lessons learned
Do not warm the onions this much time, it will burn. The recipe I followed was probably meant for electrical stowes, since I am cooking on gas, I need to lower the temperature or keeping more attention until water is added.
