I was made aware of a statement from RIAA through the blog techdirt. Read the two and see for yourself. Nobody in the world should be surprised that any music ends up on the internet, whether on torrent sites (such as The Pirate Bay, Torrentz, or any other), not even charity albums. I must admit that these two statements are the first I heard about the charity album “Hope for Haiti Now”, which supposedly came out for sale more than a month back. Have RIAA ignored marketing this album as they donate all the funds to charity instead of putting them in their own pockets? (more…)
This message is just to confirm that the site have moved. There passed a few practical problems during the move, such as limited internet access, change of work place, little time available, etc.
At time of installation I also tried to upgrade the versions of WordPress (the blogg software) and mediawiki (used on my wiki), so this should be up to date. I will also have a look at having the various plugins upgraded (a flag showing 14 plugins with newer version….) All of this for some time ahead. At least, the blogg didn’t go offline. The old server is going down today.
