Isaac Asimov wrote a series of books about the Space Ranger David “Lucky Starr”. As most of Asimov’s fictional works, these books take into account of scientific facts or speculations from the time when the books was written. My copy of “Lucky Starr and the Oceans of Venus” was a re-print from the ’70’s, and Asimov explained some of the theories when the books was written, and what scientific evidence have been found about Venus later.

I know there have been a few weeks since Gary Gygax (1938 - 2008) passed away, but I have needed the time to figure out how to present this. His full name was Ernest Gary Gygax, but most people knew him as Gary Gygax. He was one of the developers behind the D&D tabletop role-playing game published by TSR in 1973.

But can it take up the competition against Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera? In this article I will focus mainly on Safari, but I will also compare it to the other three mentioned. Other browsers are not taken into consideration as they have a too narrow market share, or are not supported on Windows XP, which is the platform used in this test.
